Melanie’s journey began in South Africa, where she earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Business Administration from the University of Natal. Upon migrating to Australia, she furthered her expertise, obtaining her CPA and a MBA from Deakin University. Melanie is a registered Tax Agent and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Melanie is passionate about enhancing organisational efficiency, nurturing organisation’s human resources and transforming corporate vision into actionable steps to create long term sustainable value for all stakeholders. Her aptitude for both articulating high-level organisational vision and understanding intricate processes distinguishes her with a unique skill set. Her background is remarkably diverse, encompassing roles as a network administrator, leader of the tax and superannuation teams, CFO, project manager, and various leadership positions across a wide range of businesses.
Trailblazer Consulting Group was born out of conversations with clients who frequently concentrated on isolated facets of their businesses. Understanding the deep connections between technology, financial acumen and insights, and growth and expansion strategies, Melanie’s expertise played a pivotal role in unlocking the growth potential of clients.
Melanie’s impact reaches far beyond her position at Trailblazer Consulting Group. She serves as a Board Member and Deputy Chair of Positive Media Inc., leads the PWS Advisory Group Leadership Team as Chair, and holds a position on the Board of Management of Nunawading Swimming Club Inc.
